20	Police Reform Act 2002 - report by the Clerk 1. All members have been sent a copy of the Association of Police Authorities summary. Certain provisions will come into effect on 1 October such as the National Policing Plan. The majority of other provisions will come into effect between November and April 2003 and the new complaints system will come into effect in April 2004 (also see item 14(b) above on Health and Safety Issues); 2. Members will be kept informed of relevant commencement dates when these are known and provisions of the Act will be referred to in future reports as appropriate
