John Mortimer
Councillor Member

Married with two daughters, John has been a member of Crawley Borough Council for 15 years and has served as Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Crawley. He is also a member of West Sussex County Council. John served with the Royal Navy and most recently worked on Manor Royal Estate in Crawley for Varian Medical Services.

John was appointed to the Police Authority in July 2001 and is a member of the Community Engagement Steering Group, the Complaints Committee, and the Independent Custody Visiting Committee. John also represents the Authority on the Crawley Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership.
