Carole Shaves MBE JP
Magistrate Member

Carole has been a magistrate since 1989 and serves on the Eastern Bench, she is Chairman of the Adult Court and the Family Court and also Chairman of Hastings and Rother Victim Support.

Carole was appointed to the Police Authority in 2005 and is a member of the Community Engagement Steering Group and represents the Authority on Police Appeal Tribunals and Hastings Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership. Carole also has Lead Member responsibilities for Children.
